Leach Pottery, St Ives is able to offer four start-up opportunities for potters looking to embark on their own business. Within the newly developed Leach site we have a purpose-built shared workshop space. As one of our start-ups you would share your time between working for yourself and working on pieces for the pottery, producing a range of porcelain and stoneware. In terms of your current ability, you should have reached a level where you feel confident about being ready to embark on your own business. You should already have skills in basic hand production processes including throwing.

Please note: These are rent subsidized opportunities rather than paid posts. They include skills support and training, business support and mentoring for a minimum 12 months period.
