Volunteering at Leach Pottery

Why not bring your knowledge to a receptive and eager audience by becoming a volunteer. Just spend three or four hours a week (more if you have the time and enjoy the experience) and learn more about Bernard Leach’s contribution to St. Ives and the world of studio ceramics.

Even if you feel that your knowledge is limited at this stage, your commitment and enthusiasm are the key ingredients to becoming a volunteer and your expertise will improve and expand during your time with us. For a minimum commitment of four hours a week (or equivalent combination of 16 hours a month) you will receive:

- A free annual porcelain membership which provides unlimited entry to the Museum and exhibitions

- Invitations to private views and special events

- 10% discount on selected artists in our shop and most exhibitions

- 10% discount on books and magazines.
