As a registered charity the Bernard Leach (St Ives) Trust Ltd relies on arts funding and the generous support of the public in order to continue providing the Leach Pottery’s unique mix of history, education and enterprise.
Donations are always welcome, and every penny helps to support the Trusts aims of providing training in the art, craft and making of pottery, advancing education on the life and work of Bernard Leach, preserving his historic former home and workplace and increasing public appreciation of the ceramic arts.
Funds have so far contributed to the preservation of Bernard Leach’s workshop with its climbing kiln, iconic fireplace and wheels, the establishment of two new museum exhibition spaces displaying works from the Leach collection, the construction of a modern studio to house our international team of production potters and the establishment of the Clore Learning Studio, which hosts the Leach learning and participation programme, including work with schools and families, adult education courses, professional workshops and artist residencies.
Corporate donations from likeminded business are also welcome. Please contact Acting Director Katie Bunnell email@example.com or telephone 01736 799703 for further information.
The Leach Pottery is managed by the Bernard Leach (St Ives) Trust Limited.
