The Leach Pottery is located at Higher Stennack (on the B3306) on the upper outskirts of the town of St Ives, Cornwall.
FROM THE A30: Follow the brown signs for Tate St Ives. At the Penzance/Zennor junction on the B3306 continue following the road down towards St Ives. The Leach Pottery is on the right, after the fire Station.
FROM ST IVES TOWN CENTRE: Follow the main road up the hill from Royal Square (opposite the Royal Cinema). Two minutes by car or a twenty minute walk.
A regular rail service runs between London Paddington, the North and Midlands to Penzance with a connection at St Erth station for the Branch line to St Ives. Call National Rail enquiries for detailed information: 08457 484950.
National Express provides high-speed connections to St Ives. Call 0871 7818178 for information. The hourly Bus service between St Ives and Penzance stops right outside the Leach Pottery and in the summer so does the Open Top Bus Service . Call 0845 6001420 for information. Regular bus services to St Ives also run from most towns in Cornwall.
All public areas are accessible to wheel chairs and pushchairs and people with limited mobility with the exception of the old kiln room in the museum to which there is a steep step down.
There are ramps for entrance into the shop and disabled parking bays in the onsite car park.
Wheelchair –friendly toilets are situated in the museum entrance space with baby change facilities.
There is a wheel-chair friendly lift for access from the old museum to the newer part of the site where the Cube Gallery is situated.
