The Leach Pottery begins its ‘10 Year Anniversary’ with an Open Day that continues throughout the weekend: the Museum will be free to visit from 1pm onwards on Friday.
As part of the opening you will able to enjoy a new hands-on, family- focussed Janet Leach inspired clay activity in the Museum, see two new exhibitions prior to their official opening in the evening: ‘Reunion: Potters From The Time Of Bernard Leach’ in the Entrance Gallery and ‘10 Year Anniversary’ in the Cube Gallery, enjoy a chat and nibbles with staff and volunteers around the site and explore the pottery, museum and shop.
There will also be an opportunity to register for our new free ‘Leach Pottery Locals’ Pass’ if you live in the TR26 and TR27 postcodes, providing entry to the Leach Pottery for a year. All those registering for a ‘Locals’ Pass’, on this day, will be entered into a raffle to win one of 10 Leach Standard Ware Mugs.
No booking required but please come early, we hope it will be very busy!
