Resource and SEMINAR Room
Our Resource and Seminar Room in Beagle Cross has undergone a facelift and is now available for study, conference, and lecture purposes. It has a comprehensive library of books on the art of pottery, as well as its practices and history, and is available as an open source reference for anyone interested in using it for research or learning purposes.
We are currently cataloguing and listing the whole collection and the data will eventually be available on our website. We hope that students and practitioners will use the library for reference and study, as it is a unique collection of rare, current, and historical books, on pottery and ceramics, and is probably one of the best resources of its type in the South West.
The room is also available for seminars, training workshops or as a small lecture space, with full sound and video facilities. It can accommodate 10 people for a seminar or around 20 for lectures. There is also a small kitchen where refreshments can be prepared; tea, coffee, milk and biscuits will be provided. It can be hired on a morning, afternoon, and day rate: morning and afternoon £40, full day £70.
Please contact Margaret Parma on 01736 799703or email firstname.lastname@example.org to enquire about our conference facilities or to gain access to the library.
