Schools Work

The Leach Pottery offers workshops across all Key Stages.

Full Education Workshops

Key Stages 1 to 3 - include practical hands-on activities such as making a coil pot or tile, sketching and a tour of the museum tour including watching pots being made on the wheel. Pupils can explore the old pottery with its original kilns and equipment as well as the new museum and exhibition area. Visits provide the basis for a cross curricula project incorporating elements of heritage, geography, science, literacy, maths, local history, myths and legends and art and design.

Key Stages 4 & 5 - we can arrange bespoke tours and activities- see below for details.
