Participants will gain a basic understanding of what glazes are and how they work. You will practice the grid method and learn the theory behind glaze development. This course is suitable for intermediate to advanced potters- amateurs and professionals, those who are interest in mixing their own glazes. This course doesn’t cover glaze application. We will be reintroducing our 4 Day Specialist Glaze Theory Course in 2026 once the Leach Pottery building project is finished.
