Autumn Evening Throwing Course at the Leach Pottery
Autumn Evening Throwing Course at the Leach Pottery
Overview
Offered in a 6-week block, this course provides a unique opportunity for you to learn and improve your throwing techniques. Workshops will be lead by a key course leader with some selected dates arranged to be lead by alternative tutors.
This course takes you through the full process from clay preparation to finishing. You will learn throwing techniques for one-off or production pieces, turning and handle pulling.
Please note this course is a 6-week term (due to the building works taking place at the pottery.) While potters of all abilities are welcome, we suggest this term might suit participants who have some throwing experience already due to the length of the course.
Once more is known about the building requirements, we hope to release further course dates taking place at the Leach Pottery across the year.
