I love it here. I’ve always wanted to have a go at pottery and I was so thrilled when the social prescriber offered this to me. I just don’t want this to end. I’m really shocked at myself that I’ve managed to come. It wasn’t easy for me to do this, but I have and I’ve got so much from it.

Participants from the Leach Pottery Community Programme

Social Prescribing takes a hollistic approach to people’s health and wellbeing. Through referrals from GPs at the Stennack Surgery in St Ives participants are welcomed to Leach Pottery for 6 week long supportive pottery courses. Participants encounter different ways of working with clay to develop in confidence and share time with others in a nurturing environment.
