In-House Show | A Selection of New Work by the Leach Studio Team

28 May to 3 July 2016

This early summer in-house exhibition showcases the work of the Leach Pottery studio team and provides a unique snapshot of current talent, artistry and design innovation from all areas of the Leach organisation.

The show includes new work by Honorary Lead Potter John Bedding and each member of the Pottery’s international studio team, including Lead Production Potter Roelof Uys from South Africa and skilled production potters Kat Wheeler and Britta James from the USA and Germany respectively, apprentices Callum Trudgeon and Matt Foster of St Ives, both recipients of the Seasalt training bursary, and volunteers Jordan Scott of Canada and Laurence Eastwood of the UK. From the Museum, Gallery and Learning & Participation teams the show includes work by Jo Wason, our respected tutors, Amanda Brier and Jackie Clarke, Exhibition Co-ordinator, Dr Matthew Tyas and David Griffin of the Board of Trusteees.

The exhibition gives visitors a unique opportunity to see the quality and depth of contemporary Leach production and see the individual work of the 2016 Leach team, from fledging apprentice to that of established master potter.
