Gardening Group Volunteering

Do you love being outdoors, getting your hands in the soil and helping (small but beautiful) spaces to thrive? We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join our community gardening group - meeting fortnightly from Thursday 30th April 2-4pm.

Together, we will work on a range of projects across the Leach Pottery site.

What you do as a volunteer:

  • Keep the historically important garden areas tidy and weed free;

  • Prune and care for established plants.;

  • Seasonal planting and helping new plants thrive.;

  • Support the natural beauty and heritage of the Leach Pottery site.

Skills you can bring:

• You enjoy being outside and have an interest in gardening or nature

• You enjoy working with your hands and doing practical tasks

• You have experience and skills in a garden and some plant knowledge

• You able to volunteer a minimum of 1 day a month (depending on seasonal gardening needs)
