Joanna’s pots are mainly thrown using porcelain, red earthenware and stoneware. Pieces are glazed with tenmoku, iron, white, iron or ash and include bowls, teabowls and sumptuous round vases.
Joanna uses colour, glaze and decoration to beautiful effect: splashes of vibrant slipware and exquisite pour decoration contrast with her elegant and minimal white pieces.
