‘Saint Ia's voyage to St Ives.’

The legend of St Ia, patron saint of St Ives, illustrates the power of resilience and belief against all odds. Abandoned by her missionary companions on the shore of the Irish Sea, Ia prayed for help to cross the water and a leaf barque appeared in which she sailed to Cornwall.
