Takuhon Printmaking
Friday 31 October, 10-12pm (Ages 7-13) & 1.30-3.30pm (Ages 7-13)
Discover the ancient Japanese printmaking technique of Takuhon. Takuhon creates detailed 3D relief prints of objects by moulding thin, damp Japanese paper over them and then dabbing oil-based ink onto the surface with ink daubers.
Across the workshop participants will make their own daubers, prepare their paper, before making a collection of prints.
