Training

Here is some training for Dementia Friends. It is a short video explaining ways to be supportive of those with dementia within the community. During most of the volunteering roles at the Leach Pottery, you are likely to come across people with dementia.

Here is the Kids in Museums Manifesto, which we are signed up to, this is how we approach welcoming children and families to our workshops, courses and the museum.

An overview of the history of the pottery is on our website. And suggestions for further reading (if you are interested) are at the bottom of the page.
