Throwing Taster Sessions

An introduction to throwing for beginners. Participants will encounter clay preparation, wedging, centering clay on the wheel and throwing basic cylinders. The workshop is taught by one of our pottery tutors.

Where: The Leach Pottery Learning & Production Studios
Capacity: 5 per session
Equipment & materials: clay and a basic tool kit is provided: Please bring additional tools if you wish to use them along with an apron and hand towel

Level: beginner only (ages 18+)
Cost: £60 per person. Sessions are 2.5 hours long. (10-12.30pm or 1.30-4pm)

Throwing Tasters focus is on becoming familiar with the throwing process and therefore outcomes are not fired.
