Many Hands: One Material

A curated online exhibition bringing together 62 works by 32 potters for two weeks only. Across diverse traditions, techniques and intentions, each maker begins with the same elemental material: clay. From domestic vessels to sculptural forms, quiet utility to bold expression, this exhibition shows how one medium expresses many voices. Some works prize function, others surface, gesture, proportion or fire. Some draw on ceramic lineages; others push new territory. Together they reveal the remarkable range of contemporary pottery and ceramics today. This temporary selection invites comparison, contrast and discovery: how form is shaped, how surfaces speak, and how individual sensibilities emerge through touch, process and heat.
