Falmouth-based potter, Barry Huggett presents a selection of beautifully subtle and elegant new work.
Barry’s previous work was salt and soda glazed stoneware but in recent years he has been experimenting with lower fired glazes and exploring the outcomes.
Incorporating a wide variety of domestic ware and individual pieces, Barry’s works in brighter colours - combining traditional glaze and slip decoration, with texture, depth and movement; using a combination of bold mark-making and subtler decoration.
