Clive works from his pottery in Shebbear, North Devon.  Using traditional slipware techniques, he makes a range of domestic ware which is both functional and aesthetic in their design, whilst reflecting a rich Devon tradition.

Clive is highly regarded as one of Britain’s finest studio potters and his work is widely exhibited both in the UK and abroad. He produces slip-decorated earthenware pots in a country style with a sparse but fluid and vigorous trailing of the slip.
