February Half Term: Z Bowls

Hand-build and decorate your own z bowl with iron oxide.

The z bowl became a feature of the Leach Pottery’s output in the 1940s, getting it’s name from the decorative three confident lines on the side of the bowl… do you see a z, or a bird on a branch? Pots will be fired and glazed and ready for collection from the Leach Pottery within 12 weeks of the workshop.

This free for Cornish residents workshop is drop-in, and therefore no need to book your place. We work to accommodate all who arrive for these workshops. We assure you there is no need to arrive early and a later arrival achieves a more relaxed flow of participants and calmer environment. Last admissions 30 mins before the end of the workshop.
