Glenn Lewis

Glenn Lewis took up an apprenticeship at the Leach Pottery between 1961 and 1963, inspired by his friend John Reeve who had himself returned to Vancouver from Cornwall with stories of his own time at the Leach Pottery. Glenn, who had graduated in painting and ceramics from the Vancouver School of Art (now Emily Carr University) apprenticed in the St. Ives studio under the direction of potter William Marshall. He worked alongside Kenneth Quick, John Leach and Nirmala Patwarden producing standard ware pottery under the mentorship of Bernard and Janet Leach.
