Imogen joined the Leach Pottery as a member of the Learning & Participatio team in 2023, having been a secondary science teacher elsewhere in Cornwall. In September 2025 she commenced an Apprenticeship in the Leach Pottery Studio.

 “The Apprenticeship has long been a dream and I can’t wait to start with the Production team in September 2025. From learning the Standard Ware forms, to exploring my own styles and firing the kilns, I’m excited to begin.

“I grew up modelling with clay but it wasn’t until 2017 that I discovered pottery; I was completely taken by pottery’s endless creative possibilities and how it links to my background in chemistry.”
