Neil Robinson: Shop
Neil joined the Leach Pottery in January 2025 and works on the Learning & Participation programme as Make with Leach Coordinator, with a focus on Schools & Families. The Two works here are from our 2025 Exhibition: The Leach Pottery: One & All. Neil describes his working practise:
“ Thrown vessels dropped on the rocks of local settings, the works explores the politics of life on the edge, the boundary between land and water, with a particular interest in the bit in between, the flux of the tidal zone and how it exemplifies our relationship with the living world.
“The ceramics are used as a form of printmaking, both receiving and imprinting information, acting as a conversation between human and non-human entities as the artist struggles to fathom their own placing in this liminal setting. The created forms consider the function of beauty, the meaning of vessel, and conversations around authorship and coproduction.”
