Niek Hoogland: Shop
In August 2023 we presented 'Niek Hoogland: Best of Both Worlds', a Shop Exhibition of new slipware pots created by Niek during his 10 week Leach Pottery residency. A selection of that work is available here online.
During his residency Niek explored his beloved slipware, including creating a more textured and tasty red clay body decorated with white slip alongside striking motifs and clay applications. When not working in Bernard Leach’s studio, Niek could often be found in the local countryside and museums seeking inspiration for this new body of work.
