Tinni Arora works from her studio in Noida, India, where she makes functional ware and intricate miniature pottery. Her love of small things has led to Tinni exploring forms, glazes and decorating techniques that emulate traditional pottery - including Leach Standard Ware.

The process of making the miniatures imitates the process and proportions of a full-scale pot. To achieve this, each piece is thrown on a regular size wheel, along with most of its attachments like lids and spout. The handles are pulled and all the decorations are done by hand using tiny tools.

 Nature and seasons are my biggest source of inspiration. My work changes over time in response to these themes: it grows with me and what I see around me.
